What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Embassy Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Embassy Suites has the right to communicate directly with your managers and Management Company. Furthermore, Embassy Suites has the right to rely on the communications from your managers and Management Company as being made on your behalf.
This direct line of communication ensures that Embassy Suites can maintain its brand standards and operational consistency across all franchised locations. It allows them to address any issues or concerns directly with the individuals responsible for the hotel's day-to-day operations. For a franchisee, this means that while you retain ultimate responsibility for your hotel, Embassy Suites will actively engage with your management team to ensure compliance and performance.
This arrangement also implies that franchisees should ensure their managers and Management Companies maintain open and transparent communication with Embassy Suites. Franchisees should also be aware that Embassy Suites will consider the communications from these parties as being made on the franchisee's behalf, which could have implications for how the franchise operates and any potential disputes or issues that may arise.
