What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Embassy Suites' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Embassy Suites may charge franchisees for required training services and materials. Specifically, the FDD states that Embassy Suites may specify certain required and optional training programs and provide these programs at various locations. They may charge franchisees for both required and optional training services and materials.
In addition to the cost of the training itself, the franchisee is responsible for the expenses incurred by their personnel (or their Management Company's personnel) when attending these training programs. These expenses include travel, lodging, and other related costs.
This means that prospective Embassy Suites franchisees should factor in not only the direct costs of training programs and materials charged by Embassy Suites, but also the indirect costs of sending personnel to these training sessions. These costs can vary depending on the location of the training, the number of employees requiring training, and the duration of the programs.
