What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Embassy Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, access to the Reservation Service is conditional on full compliance with the Franchise Agreement. Specifically, franchisees must adhere to all obligations and standards outlined in the agreement and the Manual. This includes all standards, specifications, requirements, criteria, and policies developed by Embassy Suites for the design, construction, operation, marketing, and quality assurance of System Hotels.

If an Embassy Suites hotel is in default, the franchisor may suspend its obligations, including removing the hotel's listing from directories and advertising, assessing non-compliance fees, and suspending or removing the hotel from the Reservation Service. This underscores the importance of maintaining compliance with all aspects of the Franchise Agreement to ensure continued access to the Reservation Service, which is a critical component for attracting and accommodating guests.

This conditionality is a common practice in franchising, as it ensures brand consistency and quality across all locations. By maintaining standards, Embassy Suites protects its brand reputation and the interests of all franchisees within the system. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Franchise Agreement and Manual to fully understand the obligations and standards required to maintain access to essential services like the Reservation Service.
