What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Ella Cafe business must at all times be under the on-site supervision of the franchisee or a general manager. If the franchisee chooses to have a general manager, that general manager must have completed Ella Cafe's training program.
If a new general manager needs to attend the training program, or periodically, the franchisee, general manager, or employee must attend a refresher-training program. This refresher training will be conducted at Ella Cafe's headquarters or another designated location. There is a fee of $350 per training program per person.
The franchisee does not have to attend more than one of these programs in any calendar year, and these programs will not exceed three days during any calendar year. The franchisee is responsible for the expenses associated with attending these programs.
