What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Ella Cafe does provide on-site opening support to franchisees. Specifically, Ella Cafe will make available one of their representatives to familiarize the franchisee's staff with their techniques and provide general assistance and guidance when opening the Coffee House.
Prior to opening, Ella Cafe will also assist with reviewing and approving potential locations, providing standard building plans and specifications, and providing a list of approved suppliers for necessary equipment, signs, fixtures, opening inventory, and supplies. Ella Cafe will also give access to their Operating Manual and conduct an initial training program. If requested, Ella Cafe will review the franchisee's pre-opening business plan and financial projections and advise on the planning and execution of the market introduction plan.
After the franchisee opens their Ella Cafe business, they must operate under the on-site supervision of themselves or a general manager who has completed Ella Cafe's training program. This ensures that the business maintains Ella Cafe's standards and operational procedures even after the initial on-site support is completed.
