What interest will I acquire in the Confidential Information for Ella Cafe?

I will not acquire any interest in the Confidential Information, other than the right to utilize it in the development of the Franchised Business during the term hereof, and the use or duplication of the Confidential Information for any use outside the System would constitute an unfair method of competition.
The Confidential Information is proprietary, involves trade secrets of Franchisor, and is disclosed to me solely on the condition that I agree, and I do hereby agree, that I shall hold in strict confidence all Confidential Information and all other information designated by Franchisor as confidential.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, as a franchisee, you will not acquire any ownership interest in Ella Cafe's Confidential Information.
