What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee cancels, fails to attend, or does not complete a scheduled on-site training program or visit, they will be required to pay Ella Cafe an "On-Site Training Cancellation Fee." The amount of this fee can vary depending on the type of training program and how far in advance the franchisee notifies Ella Cafe of the cancellation.
In addition to the cancellation fee, the franchisee is also responsible for covering the costs and expenses that Ella Cafe incurs in rescheduling travel arrangements. This could include changes to flights or accommodations that were booked in advance of the training.
This policy highlights the importance of franchisees committing to scheduled training programs and providing timely notification of any cancellations to minimize potential financial penalties. It is important for prospective franchisees to inquire about the specific cancellation fee schedule and understand all associated costs before registering for any on-site training.
