You must purchase (1) the computer hardware and software and (2) uniforms, shirts, memorabilia, and all merchandise and items intended for retail sale (whether or not bearing our Marks), (3) POS System, CRM System, Marketing Operating System, Sales Metrics Software, Inventory Control System, and Music System including any speakers or music players and any other software we may deem necessary for operation of your Franchised Business, from us or our approved, thirdparty vendor. You must purchase or lease the point-of-sale software and hardware, and related software and hardware based on our specification and from our approved supplier or vendor. See Item 11 for more information about pos, computer hardware, and software requirements. If a designated music provider has been identified, you must acquire music from the designated provider.

According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase or lease point-of-sale (POS) software and hardware based on Ella Cafe's specifications and from their approved supplier or vendor. Franchisees are also obligated to acquire a POS System, CRM System, Marketing Operating System, Sales Metrics Software, Inventory Control System, and Music System, including any speakers or music players and any other software Ella Cafe deems necessary for the operation of the franchised business from Ella Cafe or their approved third-party vendor. If a designated music provider has been identified, franchisees must acquire music from the designated provider.
If a franchisee wishes to purchase items for use in their coffee house from an unapproved source, they must request approval in writing from Ella Cafe. Ella Cafe will grant or revoke approvals based on criteria such as the supplier's capacity, quality, financial stability, reputation, and reliability, as well as inspections, product testing, and performance reviews. The criteria for approving suppliers are not available to franchisees. Ella Cafe will provide written notification of the approval or disapproval of any proposed supplier within 30 days after receiving the request. Ella Cafe may grant approvals of new suppliers or revoke past approvals of suppliers upon written notice or by updating their Manual.

While franchisees are limited in their choice of suppliers for these items, they do have the option to request approval for alternative suppliers if they meet Ella Cafe's criteria.
