For Ella Cafe, where must a franchisee select a site from?

According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate their coffee house from a location that they select, subject to Ella Cafe's approval. The franchisee must choose a site within a non-exclusive Site Selection Area, which will be identified in the Franchise Agreement. Ella Cafe may use boundaries such as counties, political boundaries, streets, geographical features, or trade areas to define the Site Selection Area.

Franchisees are generally protected from other Ella Cafe locations within their Designated Area, but this protection does not extend to Reserved Areas such as shopping malls, airports, or college campuses, where Ella Cafe can operate or license other locations.
