What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee requests on-site assistance, or if Ella Cafe deems it necessary, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Ella Cafe for the costs of transportation, lodging, and meals for the individuals providing the on-site assistance.

This means that in addition to any fees Ella Cafe may charge for the assistance itself, the franchisee will also have to cover the travel-related expenses incurred by Ella Cafe's personnel. This could potentially add a significant cost to the franchisee, especially if the on-site assistance requires multiple visits or involves personnel traveling from a distant location.

It's important for prospective Ella Cafe franchisees to factor in these potential costs when budgeting for their franchise. They should also inquire about Ella Cafe's standard rates for on-site assistance and get an estimate of potential travel expenses before requesting such assistance. Understanding these costs upfront can help franchisees make informed decisions about when and whether to seek on-site support from Ella Cafe.
