What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the classroom training for establishing the franchised business takes place at several locations. The classroom training is 5 hours and can be held at Ella Cafe's headquarters in Plantation, FL, at the franchisee's business location, or another location that Ella Cafe designates, which may include a virtual platform.
Ella Cafe also holds general training classes at their offices and business location in Plantation, Florida. These classes are scheduled based on the needs of new franchisees and are anticipated to occur three to six times per year. Ella Cafe retains the right to modify the duration and content of the initial training program depending on the attendee's experience and skill level.
Prospective franchisees and their Principal Executive must satisfactorily complete the initial training before opening their Ella Cafe franchise. While additional training is not currently required, Ella Cafe reserves the right to offer and require attendance at additional or refresher courses with at least 30 days' notice. There is no fee for up to 3 people to attend training, but the franchisee must cover the travel, salary, food, and living expenses for those attending.
