We issue specifications and standards to you for applicable aspects of the franchise in our Manual and/or in written directives. We may issue new specifications and standards for any aspect of our brand system, or modify existing specifications and standards, at any time by revising our Manual and/or issuing new written directives (which may be communicated to you by any method we choose). We will generally (but are not obligated to) issue new or revised specifications only after thorough testing in our headquarters, in company-owned Coffee Houses, and/or a limited market test in multiple units.

According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Ella Cafe communicates new or revised specifications and standards to franchisees through the franchise's Manual and/or written directives. These directives can be communicated through any method Ella Cafe chooses.
Ella Cafe may issue new specifications and standards or modify existing ones for any aspect of the brand system at any time. These changes are implemented by revising the Manual or issuing new written directives.
Ella Cafe generally issues new or revised specifications only after thorough testing. This testing typically occurs at the headquarters, in company-owned coffee houses, and/or through limited market tests in multiple units. While Ella Cafe generally tests before issuing new specifications, they are not obligated to do so.
