Besides Ella Cafe, does any affiliate currently act as an approved supplier for Ella Cafe franchisees?

Currently we are the only designated suppliers for the Initial Inventory Package which includes, among other things, the initial proprietary coffee, supplies, branded paper products, and merchandise necessary to open and operate the Coffee House. Other than as stated, currently neither we nor any affiliate is an approved supplier. None of our officers owns an interest in any other privately-held supplier or a material interest in any publicly-held supplier.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Ella Cafe's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase certain items from Ella Cafe or designated sources, including fixtures, furniture, equipment, signage, food products, promotional materials, and branded supplies. Ella Cafe is currently the only designated supplier for the Initial Inventory Package, which includes proprietary coffee, supplies, branded paper products, and merchandise.
Beyond the Initial Inventory Package, the FDD states that currently neither Ella Cafe nor any affiliate is an approved supplier. The document specifies that none of Ella Cafe's officers owns an interest in any other privately-held supplier or a material interest in any publicly-held supplier.
However, Ella Cafe franchisees may be required to buy food, spices, ingredients, and supplies from affiliated or third-party distributors in addition to approved suppliers. Ella Cafe retains the right to designate or approve additional suppliers in the future and will communicate information about approved and designated suppliers via the Manual. Franchisees can propose alternative suppliers, but Ella Cafe's approval is required.
