Site Selection
If permitted by local law, you may operate your Dryer Vent Squad Business from a home based administrative office. Otherwise, you are responsible for selecting a site for your administrative office and must obtain our approval of your selected location.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Dryer Vent Squad FDD, the initial training program is held at the Dryer Vent Squad training facility in Lakewood, New Jersey. The initial training program is to be attended by you, or if you are a Corporate Entity, your Managing Owner and one Operating Manager. The training program takes place over a three day period.
Dryer Vent Squad also offers initial training to replacement Operating Managers at facilities they designate. Currently, this includes their affiliate-owned Dryer Vent Squad Business in Lakewood, New Jersey, and potentially at certified training Dryer Vent Squad Businesses they may designate in the future.
After opening a Dryer Vent Squad Business, franchisees may be required to attend a system-wide training program. If established, this program will be offered from their affiliate-owned Dryer Vent Squad Business in Lakewood, New Jersey. Franchisees are responsible for all associated travel, lodging, food, automobile rental expenses, and employee wages incurred while attending the system-wide training program.
