What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Dryer Vent Squad Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase and maintain a computer system at their administrative office. This system must include specific hardware, software, and peripheral devices like printers. Additionally, franchisees must purchase and use a Vonigo point of sale and business management system with one configured hardware terminal.

Dryer Vent Squad also requires franchisees to meet certain requirements for back office and point of sale systems, security systems, printers, back-up systems, and high-speed internet access. Each dispatched user or service vehicle must have an iPad with cellular internet access. These requirements ensure that franchisees have the necessary technology to manage their business effectively and meet Dryer Vent Squad's standards.

These technology requirements are typical in franchising, as they help maintain consistency and efficiency across the Dryer Vent Squad system. Prospective franchisees should consider the costs associated with purchasing and maintaining these systems, as well as the ongoing expenses for internet access and software licenses. It is important to understand the specific hardware and software requirements and to factor these costs into the overall investment.
