What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Dryer Vent Squad's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dryer Vent Squad has the authority to modify the operating processes and procedures within its system. The 'System' encompasses approved services and products, system supplies, and designated procedures for the development, marketing, and operation of a Dryer Vent Squad Business. This includes the Operations Manual, Business Management System Data, and other confidential information. All determinations regarding the system's components, modifications, and replacements are made by Dryer Vent Squad in its reasonable business judgment.

This means that as a Dryer Vent Squad franchisee, you must adhere to the standards, specifications, and operating procedures outlined in the Operations Manual. These can be modified, changed, or replaced by Dryer Vent Squad in the future. Dryer Vent Squad will provide reasonable notice of these changes, potentially through electronic communications or online platform notifications, and will allow a reasonable period for implementation.

As a franchisee, you are obligated to operate in strict accordance with the Operations Manual, including offering only approved services and products and utilizing only designated system supplies. This ensures consistency across all Dryer Vent Squad franchises and allows the franchisor to maintain brand standards and quality control. The franchisee must also maintain the confidentiality and security of the Operations Manual and its contents. This gives Dryer Vent Squad the ability to adapt to changing market conditions, technological advancements, or evolving best practices, but it also means franchisees must remain flexible and adaptable to these changes.
