What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Dryer Vent Squad's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement mandates that the Managing Owner, whether it's the franchisee or a designated representative of a corporate entity, must be personally responsible for the daily management and supervision of the Dryer Vent Squad business. This individual must dedicate their full-time efforts to the business.
Specifically, the Managing Owner is required to be on-site at the location of the franchised business facility. This implies that the Managing Owner cannot manage the Dryer Vent Squad business remotely or from a separate location. The Managing Owner must also have satisfactorily completed the initial training program provided by Dryer Vent Squad and must have obtained all required licenses and permits necessary to operate the business within the designated Operating Territory.
Dryer Vent Squad retains the right to approve the designated Managing Owner. This ensures that the individual in charge meets the franchisor's standards and is capable of effectively managing the franchise. The on-site presence and full-time dedication requirements underscore the importance Dryer Vent Squad places on active, hands-on management for the success of its franchises.
