From whom is a Dryer Vent Squad franchisee required to purchase System Supplies?

ent Squad Business; (f) Operations Manual; (g) Business Management System Data; (h) Know-How; (i) Confidential Information; and (j) Digital Media. All determinations as to the system including components to the system and modifications and replacements thereto shall be determined by Franchisor in Franchisor's Reasonable Business Judgment.
"System Supplies" refers to and means the equipment and supplies designated by Franchisor as required for use in connection with Franchisee's Dryer Vent Squad Business and the Approved Services and Products. Without limitation to the foregoing, the System Supplies shall include System branded, nonbranded and third-party branded equipment and supplies designated by Franchisor for use in the day-to-day operations of Franchisee's Dryer Vent Squad Business including, among other things: commercial vacuums, vent cleaning tools, appliance moving tools, testing equipment, drills, miscellaneous hand tools, Customer Vouchers, installation kits, uniforms, and other products designated by Franchisor in the Operations Manual and/or otherwise in writing and, as may be modified and supplemented by Franchisor from time to time in Franchisor's Reasonable Business Judgment. System Supplies shall further include those products that Franchisor authorizes for sale to customers of Franchisee's Dryer Vent Squad Business.
"System Website" refers to and means the web page and pages located on the world wide web at the www.DryerVentSquad.com domain and shall further include all webpages and subdomains including, those that are franchisee and/or geography specific, that are a part of www.DryerVentSquad.com, or as designated by Franchisor being associated with the URL of www.DryerVentSquad.com and/or Dryer Vent Squad Businesses.
"Technology Fee" shall have the meaning defined and set forth in Article 5.C. of this Agreement.
"Term" refers to and means the period of time set forth and defined in Article 2.B.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Dryer Vent Squad FDD, "System Supplies" are equipment and supplies that the franchisor designates as required for the Dryer Vent Squad Business. These include both branded and unbranded items, as well as third-party branded equipment and supplies. Examples of System Supplies include commercial vacuums, vent cleaning tools, appliance moving tools, testing equipment, drills, hand tools, customer vouchers, installation kits, and uniforms. The franchisor has the right to modify or supplement the list of System Supplies.
Upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the franchisee is obligated to pay the franchisor all outstanding amounts, including those for System Supplies. The franchisee must also cease using System Supplies, including ordering products from the franchisor's designated suppliers and vendors.
In summary, Dryer Vent Squad franchisees are required to use equipment and supplies designated by the franchisor, and are obligated to purchase these System Supplies from the franchisor, its affiliates, or its approved suppliers during the term of the franchise agreement. Franchisees must also continue to pay for these supplies upon termination of the agreement.
