What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Dryer Vent Squad's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'Additional Initial Training Fee' can be found in Article 4.A of the agreement. This fee applies if a franchisee wants more than two individuals to attend the initial training program.
The standard initial training program includes the Managing Owner and one designated manager. If the franchisee wishes to send additional personnel, they must obtain approval from Dryer Vent Squad and pay an additional fee of $500 per person. This fee must be prepaid upon submission of an invoice from Dryer Vent Squad.
This policy allows Dryer Vent Squad to maintain control over the size and quality of its initial training sessions, while also providing franchisees with the option to train additional staff members at their own expense. For prospective franchisees, this means budgeting for potential additional training costs if they plan to have more than two people attend the initial training program. It is important to note that attendance of additional personnel is subject to Dryer Vent Squad's approval.
