Who directs and supervises the Dryer Vent Squad initial training?

Instructional materials that will be used in the initial training process includes our Manuals, live instruction, and handouts. Initial training will be conducted under the direction and supervision of our CEO, Leo Goldberger. From 2018 to October 2020, Mr. Goldberger was CEO of our predecessor, DVS Franchising Corporation, in Lakewood, New Jersey. Mr. Goldberger is the CEO of our affiliate Home Based Franchise Group, LLC in Lakewood, New Jersey and he has served in this role since January 2022. Mr. Goldberger is the CEO of our affiliate Clozetivity Franchising, LLC in Lakewood, New Jersey and he has served in this role since June 2021. Mr. Goldberger is the CEO of our affiliate Magnetainment Franchising, LLC in Lakewood, New Jersey and he has served in this role since October 2020. Mr. Goldberger is the CEO of our affiliate Frost Shades Franchising, LLC in Lakewood, New Jersey and he has served in this role since October 2020. From June 2015 to June 2020, Mr. Goldberger was the CEO of Patch Boys Franchising Corporation in Collingswood, New Jersey.
The level of experience of our trainers will, at a minimum, include each trainer's satisfactory completion of our initial training program. In addition to initial training, you will also be required to participate in and satisfy all other training programs that we may designate respecting the Franchised Business (Franchise Agreement, Articles 4). After the opening of your Dryer Vent Squad Business, we reserve the right to require that you (or your managing owner if you are a corporate entity) attend a system-wide training program (the "System-Wide Training Program") that we may establish in our discretion. If we establish a System-Wide Training Program, the program will be offered from our affiliate owned Dryer Vent Squad Business in Lakewood, New Jersey and you will be responsible for all travel and expenses, lodging, food, automobile rental expenses and employee wages that you incur in connection with your attendance. We will not require your attendance at a System-Wide Training Program for more than a total of five days in any calendar year.

Mr. Goldberger has held various CEO positions within Dryer Vent Squad's affiliated companies since 2015. These include positions at Home Based Franchise Group, LLC (since January 2022), Clozetivity Franchising, LLC (since June 2021), Magnetainment Franchising, LLC (since October 2020), Frost Shades Franchising, LLC (since October 2020), and Patch Boys Franchising Corporation (June 2015 to June 2020). Before October 2020, Mr. Goldberger was the CEO of DVS Franchising Corporation, Dryer Vent Squad's predecessor, starting in 2018.
Dryer Vent Squad's training program also utilizes trainers who have completed the initial training program to a satisfactory level. This means that new franchisees will likely be trained by individuals who have firsthand experience with the Dryer Vent Squad system.
In addition to the initial training, Dryer Vent Squad franchisees are required to participate in any other training programs that the company designates. After opening, Dryer Vent Squad reserves the right to require franchisees (or their managing owner) to attend a system-wide training program, not exceeding five days in any calendar year, held at the affiliate-owned Dryer Vent Squad Business in Lakewood, New Jersey. The franchisee is responsible for all associated travel and attendance expenses.
