What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Dryer Vent Squad's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase and maintain specific computer equipment. This includes a desktop computer system at the administrative office and an iPad with cellular internet access for each service vehicle operated. The franchisee is also required to purchase, license, and utilize a Vonigo point of sale and business management system with one configured hardware terminal.

Dryer Vent Squad requires franchisees to meet certain standards for back office and point of sale systems, security systems, printers, back-up systems, and high-speed internet access. These requirements ensure that franchisees have the necessary tools to manage their business effectively and maintain consistent service standards across the Dryer Vent Squad system.

These technology requirements are typical in franchising, as they allow the franchisor to maintain brand consistency and ensure that franchisees are using approved and supported systems. For a prospective franchisee, this means an upfront investment in specific hardware and software, as well as ongoing costs for maintenance, licensing, and internet access. It is important to factor these technology costs into the overall investment when considering a Dryer Vent Squad franchise.
