- (3) Franchisee shall pay all costs and expenses incurred by Franchisee and, those attending training on behalf of franchisee, in connection with Franchisee's participation in all Training Programs and, satisfaction of Franchisee's Training Program obligations as designated by Franchisor.
- (4) Subject to Franchisor's approval and agreement, Franchisor may offer supplemental training within Franchisee's Operating Territory or as elected by Franchisor, remotely through on-line web based conferencing (hereinafter referred to as "Supplemental Training"). Franchisor, in Franchisor's Reasonable Business Judgment, reserves the right to reject or approve of any request by Franchisee for Supplemental Training. If Franchisor does agree to offer and provide Supplemental Training, Franchisee shall pay to Franchisor a supplemental training fee at the rate of $250 per trainer per day plus, if applicable, reimbursement of travel and hotel accommodation expenses incurred by Franchisor (the "Supplemental Training Fee"). According to Dryer Vent Squad's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Dryer Vent Squad agrees to offer supplemental training, the franchisee must pay a supplemental training fee. This fee is $250 per trainer per day.
In addition to the daily trainer fee, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Dryer Vent Squad for travel and hotel accommodation expenses incurred by the franchisor. This applies when the supplemental training is provided within the franchisee's operating territory or remotely through online web-based conferencing, if elected by Dryer Vent Squad.
Dryer Vent Squad maintains the right to determine when supplemental training is necessary. This includes instances where a new Operating Manager is hired or if Dryer Vent Squad determines that the franchisee isn't meeting operational standards. The franchisee is required to prepay these supplemental training fees upon receiving an invoice from Dryer Vent Squad.
