What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Dq Treat FDD, a franchisee or sub-franchisee can purchase a new terminal from GIFT (presumably a supplier) for $245. This is the stated "Sale Price" for the terminal itself.

In addition to the sale price of the terminal, Dq Treat franchisees will also be charged a one-time deployment fee of $75 for each terminal. This deployment fee covers the setup and installation of the terminal at the franchisee's designated location.

Furthermore, Dq Treat offers an optional equipment replacement program for terminals purchased from GIFT that are out of warranty. This program costs $125 per replaced terminal and includes overnight service on the replacement terminal and call tag pick-up of the defective terminal. While participation in this program is not mandatory, Dq Treat suggests franchisees select the Equipment Replacement Program to cover terminals in case of malfunction.
