What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dq Treat Franchise Disclosure Document, Dq Treat does not make any representations about a franchisee's future financial performance, nor does it make representations about the past financial performance of company-owned or franchised outlets. This means that Dq Treat does not provide any guarantees or projections regarding the potential financial success of a franchise.
Dq Treat also does not authorize its employees or representatives to make any financial performance representations, either orally or in writing. This policy is in place to ensure consistent and reliable information is provided to all prospective franchisees. However, if a prospective franchisee is purchasing an existing Dq Treat outlet, Dq Treat may provide the actual records of that specific outlet.
It is important for potential franchisees to be cautious about any financial performance information or projections they receive from other sources. Dq Treat advises that if a prospective franchisee receives any financial performance information or projections about their future income, they should report it to Dq Treat's management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies. This helps protect potential franchisees from misleading or inaccurate information.
