What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dq Treat FDD, licensees are explicitly prohibited from selling alcoholic beverages on the Restaurant premises. This restriction is part of a broader set of limitations on activities such as vending, gaming, and smoking.
The prohibition on alcohol sales is a standard condition that Dq Treat imposes on its franchisees to maintain a family-friendly environment and protect the brand's image. This policy helps ensure that the focus remains on Dq Treat's core offerings of dairy products, beverages, and food items.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that they cannot supplement their revenue by selling alcohol, which is a common practice in some restaurant franchises. Franchisees must adhere strictly to this rule to avoid violating their franchise agreement and potentially facing penalties or termination.
