What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dq Treat's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the Acumera equipment is not received by the Participating Location or is damaged during shipping, Acumera will replace the equipment at no additional charge to the franchisee. This protects the franchisee from incurring additional costs due to shipping issues.

However, it is important to note that title to the equipment passes to the customer (the franchisee) upon shipment from the origin point. This means that while Acumera is responsible for replacing lost or damaged equipment during shipping, the franchisee technically owns the equipment once it leaves Acumera's facilities.

This arrangement is beneficial for Dq Treat franchisees as it ensures they will receive the necessary equipment to operate their business without unexpected expenses related to shipping problems. Franchisees should confirm the specific procedures for reporting and documenting any shipping damages or losses with Acumera to ensure a smooth replacement process.
