What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dq Treat FDD, the land title survey for a location must show flow line elevations at sanitary and storm sewers. The survey must meet certain minimum requirements, including showing topography on a 25' grid that includes an area 100' outside of the described property.
In addition to flow line elevations, the survey must locate all public and private utility lines adjoining or serving the property, including size, type, manhole invert and rim elevation, direction of flow, utility pole identification numbers, valves, fire hydrants, traffic signal and street light poles, catch basins, and drainage structures. This includes sanitary and storm sewers, natural gas, electrical, water, and telephone numbers.
The survey must also show all existing improvements on or within 50' of the described property, identified by type and general condition. The condition of existing sidewalks, curb, gutters, and adjacent streets must be indicated as well. These requirements ensure that the franchisee has a comprehensive understanding of the site's characteristics and utility infrastructure before construction.
