DQTR owns and operates two DQ Grill & Chill® restaurants in Minnesota, one of which serves as a training facility for ADQ personnel and franchisees. DQTR has conducted the DQ® business since June 2003. DQTR has entered into agreements with ADQ substantially similar to the form franchise agreement in place at the time for other franchised locations. DQTR does not and has not issued franchises in any line of business.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dq Treat Franchise Disclosure Document, DQTR (DQ Training Restaurants, LLC) does not issue franchises in any line of business. DQTR, an affiliate of ADQ, owns and operates two DQ Grill & Chill restaurants in Minnesota, one of which serves as a training facility for ADQ personnel and franchisees. DQTR has been conducting the DQ business since June 2003 and has agreements with ADQ similar to those for other franchised locations.
American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ) offers franchises for DQ Treat stores and DQ Grill & Chill restaurants. ADQ also previously offered franchises for other concepts, such as Dairy Queen/Brazier and Dairy Queen/Limited Brazier, but no longer offers these. However, existing franchisees may still operate under these older franchise programs. ADQ's affiliate, Dairy Queen Canada Inc. (DQC), issues franchises for DQ Grill & Chill restaurants and DQ Treat locations in Canada.
Other affiliates of ADQ, including IDQ, DQF, USCI, and DQGC, do not issue franchises or operate company-owned DQ Treat stores. ADQ itself also does not operate any company-owned DQ Treat stores as of the date of the 2025 disclosure document. This means that while DQTR focuses on operating restaurants for training purposes, the franchising activities are handled primarily by ADQ and DQC.
