What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dq Treat's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Participating Location must install the PAR Solution within a specific timeframe to avoid breaching their Participation Agreement. PAR (presumably the provider of the PAR Solution) will notify the Participating Location when they plan to perform installation services in the location's area, referred to as "Area Installation." This notification will occur at least 8 weeks in advance of the installation timeframe.

To be eligible for installation during the Area Installation, the Participating Location must fulfill several requirements promptly. These include completing a Customer Information Form within 4 days of receiving the installation notification, scheduling a Site Survey at a time directed by PAR approximately 6 weeks before the installation, and returning a signed Sales Order to PAR within 5 days of receiving it. Additionally, the Participating Location must complete the Pre-Installation Checklist before the scheduled installation date, which PAR coordinates after the Pre-Installation Site Survey.

The critical deadline is that the Dq Treat Participating Location must install the PAR Solution within nine (9) months of PAR's notification of the Area Installation. Failure to meet this deadline constitutes a breach of the Participation Agreement. This requirement underscores the importance of timely preparation and coordination to ensure the PAR Solution is installed according to the agreed-upon schedule.
