What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dq Treat's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the completed franchise application and attachments should be mailed to the email address Samantha.krogfus@idq.com. It is important to remember that the application is only a request and must be reviewed and approved by Dq Treat's Development Review Committee before any franchise rights are awarded.
As part of the application process, Dq Treat reviews the applicant's personal and financial background, proposed ownership and management structure. The applicant may also be required to attend a discovery day at the company's Franchisee Support Center in Minneapolis, MN, or other in-person meetings.
Before submitting the application, prospective Dq Treat franchisees must sign and date the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) receipt at least 16 days prior to returning the application, along with the initial franchise fee deposit and check. Additionally, each person with an ownership interest must submit a signed consent form for a Criminal Background and Patriot Check, which is completed by a third-party vendor.
