What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dq Treat's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Acumera will grant self-service portal access to and communicate with employees or agents of the Participating Location, referred to as "Contacts". These contacts must be specified in the Account Permissions section of each Work Order or added as Contacts by the person designated as the Administrative Contact in each Work Order. The access granted to these contacts will be limited based on the permissions set by the Administrative Contact.

Acumera emphasizes the importance of designating individuals with the necessary permissions to install, support, and authorize changes to Acumera services at each Dq Treat location. Due to data security protocols, Acumera can only modify or grant permissions if the requestor is an Administrator for the specific location. Administrators have the authority to grant Admin access to other personnel as needed.

Several roles with specific permissions are defined, including Admin, Support, Installation Coordinator, Remote Access, Sensor Download, Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), FIM Sensor and Portal, Primary PCI Contact, Read-only PCI, Cellular usage alerts, BranchSDO Portal, and BranchSDO Alerts. Each role has a defined scope of access and responsibilities, such as managing the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) for the Primary PCI Contact or receiving alerts related to LTE usage for Cellular usage alerts. This ensures that the appropriate individuals have access to the necessary tools and information to manage their respective areas of responsibility.

Acumera verifies user identity by sending authentication codes via SMS text or email. They also send a One-Time Password (OTP) for portal login attempts. Contacts are categorized as Reseller, Employed by Owner, or Third Party, indicating their affiliation with the Dq Treat location. This structured approach to access and communication ensures that data security best practices are followed and that the appropriate individuals are involved in managing and maintaining the Acumera services at each Dq Treat location.
