What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Dq Treat Franchise Disclosure Document, the term 'Activation' is not explicitly defined within the provided excerpts of the Participation Agreement. The document does refer to ACH Authorization, which requires the franchisee to authorize Dq Treat and its service providers to initiate debit and credit entries to the franchisee's account for card transactions and adjustments.
However, without a clear definition of 'Activation,' it is difficult to determine the specific context in which this term is used within the agreement. It could refer to the initial setup of the card program, the process of enabling cards for use, or other related activities.
A prospective Dq Treat franchisee should seek clarification from the franchisor regarding the definition of 'Activation' and its implications for their participation in the program. Understanding the specific requirements and responsibilities associated with 'Activation' is crucial for ensuring compliance and maximizing the benefits of the program.
