What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dq Treat's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, ACH Settlement Services involve the use of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions to manage the financial settlements between Dq Treat, its franchisees, and GIFT, the service provider. GIFT provides settlement services to Dq Treat franchisees through debits and credits to the franchisee's account and Dq Treat's designated accounts for the net value of card transactions.
For each ACH debit or credit entry initiated to the franchisee's account, Dq Treat franchisees will pay a fee of $0.10. Additionally, if an ACH entry is returned for any reason, including insufficient funds, the franchisee will incur a $25.00 returned item fee for each returned ACH entry. However, this fee is waived if the returned ACH item is due to an error by the Client's service provider.
These ACH services are crucial for processing card transactions and other financial transfers related to the franchise operation. Franchisees must authorize Dq Treat and its service providers to initiate these ACH transactions. Understanding these fees and procedures is essential for managing the financial aspects of a Dq Treat franchise.
