Customer Requirements for On‐Site Installations:
- All requirements listed above for remote installations
- All areas of work to be completed will be accessible to installer with minimal delays.
- On‐Site installations take place during standard business hours (Monday thru Friday 7am to 7pm). Installations outside of standard business hours will be charged the Extended Hours On‐Site rate indicated above.
On‐Site Installation Scope of Work:
- On‐site technician will work with customer to locate an area in the back office where the Acumera provided equipment (e.g. CXD or firewall) will be placed. Location must be in close proximity to the customer's Internet modem/router and other network gear that must be connected to the CXD or firewall.
- On‐site technician will place/mount the CXD or firewall and other equipment, if applicable, in the location determined, plug it in and connect appropriate patch cables for the Internet modem/router, POS device(s) and other connected systems to the CXD or firewall and vice versa and to patch panel (if any) as necessary for proper security configuration/segmentation.
- If an external wireless access point(s) are to be installed, on‐site technician will work with customer to locate a suitable location and mount the access point(s). On‐site technician will install PoE injector and connect it to cable running to access point.
- On‐site technician will work with remote Acumera installation technician to configure the CXD or firewall
- On‐site technician does not test business applications following installation. Acumera will work with an on‐site location contact to have them test each application specified for connectivity and to ensure they are functioning as they were prior to the CXD or Firewall install. Acumera is not responsible if applications are not functioning as they were prior to installation if they are not identified by the on‐site contact for testing.

According to Dq Treat's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all areas where on-site installations are to be completed must be accessible to the installer with minimal delays. These installations typically occur during standard business hours, which are defined as Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 7 pm. If installations are required outside these standard business hours, the franchisee will be charged an extended hours on-site rate.
During the on-site installation, the technician will collaborate with the franchisee to identify a suitable location, typically in the back office, for the placement of Acumera-provided equipment such as a CXD or firewall. This location must be in close proximity to the internet modem/router and other network gear that needs to connect to the CXD or firewall. The technician will then mount the equipment in the designated location and connect the necessary cables for the internet modem/router, POS devices, and other connected systems to ensure proper security configuration and segmentation.
If external wireless access points are part of the installation, the technician will work with the franchisee to find an appropriate location for mounting them. The technician will also install a PoE injector and connect it to the cable running to the access point. The on-site technician will collaborate with a remote Acumera installation technician to configure the CXD or firewall. However, the on-site technician does not test business applications following the installation. Acumera will coordinate with an on-site contact to test each application for connectivity and ensure it functions as it did before the CXD or firewall installation. Dq Treat is not responsible if applications do not function as expected if they are not identified for testing by the on-site contact.
