What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dog Haus has broad authority to modify the menu, including the ability to add, delete, and change menu items at their discretion. This extends to both the standard menu and any sub-branded products offered. While the franchisor can make these changes, they must provide franchisees with a notice period to implement these changes.

For the standard menu, Dog Haus may change the menu and/or menu formats from time to time, but not more frequently than twice in any calendar year, and authorize tests from region to region or within regions. Franchisees are required to implement these changes within a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 60 days after receiving written notice. Franchisees must also cease selling previously approved products within 30 days of notice that the product is no longer approved.

For Sub-Branded Products, Dog Haus may also change the menu from time to time and authorize tests from region to region or within regions. Franchisees must add, delete, or update any Sub-Branded Products according to the instructions provided in the notice. Franchisees will have 30 days after receiving written notice to fully implement any menu change.

This level of control allows Dog Haus to maintain brand consistency and adapt to market trends, but it also means franchisees must be prepared to adapt their offerings and potentially invest in new equipment as directed by the franchisor. Franchisees should factor in the potential costs and operational adjustments associated with menu changes when evaluating the Dog Haus franchise opportunity.
