Prior to the Opening Date of the Franchised Restaurant, Franchisor shall provide an Initial Training Program in the Dog Haus System and methods of operation (the "Pre-Opening Initial Training Program") at Franchisor's training facilities at Franchisor's corporate office, at Dog Haus Restaurants operated by Affiliates of Franchisor or by Dog Haus Franchisees or at other locations that Franchisor designates, for up to two (2) supervisorial or managerial personnel of Franchisee selected by Franchisee who must include the Principal Owner and General Manager.
Franchisee shall pay Franchisor its Then-Current Additional Pre-Opening Initial Training Fee for each additional trainee.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dog Haus Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must pay Dog Haus its Then-Current Additional Pre-Opening Initial Training Fee for each additional trainee beyond the initial two that are included. The Pre-Opening Initial Training Program is provided before the restaurant opens and is for up to two supervisorial or managerial personnel, including the Principal Owner and General Manager.
This fee applies when the franchisee wants to send more than two people to the initial training program. The training covers the Dog Haus system and methods of operation. It takes place at Dog Haus's training facilities, corporate offices, affiliated Dog Haus restaurants, or other designated locations.
Franchisees are also responsible for covering all transportation, food, and lodging costs for themselves and up to two round trip flights, two hotel rooms, two rental vehicles, and a $60 per diem for each of Dog Haus's employees who provide the training. This means that the Then-Current Additional Pre-Opening Initial Training Fee is in addition to these costs.
