  • 4 Pre-Opening Initial Training Program. We will provide our Pre-Opening Initial Training Program at our corporate office or other Dog Haus Restaurant or location that we designate and through a virtual communication platform designated by us, for your Principal Owner and your General Manager or other supervisorial or managerial personnel.     1. Dog Haus Approved Suppliers. We will designate our Dog Haus Approved Suppliers for you after we sign your Franchise Agreement. All Dog Haus Branded Products, Dog Haus Proprietary Products, Sub-Branded Products and Non-Proprietary Products and Services that we designate for use and sale at or from your Franchised Restaurant must be purchased from Dog Haus Approved Suppliers in accordance with our written specifications. We do not deliver or install any Dog Haus Branded Products, Dog Haus Proprietary Products, Sub-Branded Products or Non-Proprietary Products and Services. (Franchise Agreement, Section 8.1).
    1. Virtual Training. We may provide any or all portions of the Pre-Opening Initial Training Program and/or pre-opening on-site opening assistance remotely over a virtual communication platform designated by us. (Franchise Agreement, Section 6.8).

Post-Opening Obligations

We have the following obligations to you during the operation of your Franchised Restaurant:

    1. On-Site Opening Assistance. We will provide on-site training and assistance for up to 10 days, in some combination before and after your first Dog Haus Restaurant opens to the public. We will also provide on-site assistance for up to 3 days during your mail grand opening promotional event, which must occur 2-4 weeks after your first Dog Haus Restaurant opens to the public. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dog Haus will provide its Pre-Opening Initial Training Program to the franchisee's Principal Owner and their General Manager, or other supervisorial or managerial personnel. This training is conducted at Dog Haus's corporate office, another Dog Haus Restaurant, a location designated by Dog Haus, or through a virtual communication platform. The Principal Owner, General Manager, and other supervisorial or managerial personnel must attend and complete the Pre-Opening Initial Training Program to Dog Haus's satisfaction. As part of this program, the Principal Owner must complete two days of marketing training at the corporate office.

However, Dog Haus will not provide the Pre-Opening Initial Training Program if the franchisee or their affiliates already own another Dog Haus Restaurant, or if the Franchise Agreement is a renewal. In these cases, the franchisee is expected to already possess the necessary knowledge and skills to operate the franchise.

Before the Franchised Restaurant opens, the Principal Owner, General Manager, and other supervisorial or managerial personnel must also complete the ServSafe® Food Safety Certification Program or show evidence of prior ServSafe certification. They must also successfully complete the Certified Beer Server Program, which is the first level of certification in the Cicerone Certification Program®.
