For your first Franchised Restaurant, we will provide on-site training and assistance for up to 10 days, in some combination before and after the Franchised Restaurant opens for business. We will not provide any on-site assistance for your or your affiliate's subsequent Franchised Restaurants. We will also provide on-site assistance for up to 3 days during your main grand opening promotional event, which must occur 2-4 weeks after your first Dog Haus Restaurant opens to the public.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dog Haus provides on-site training and assistance for the initial opening of a franchisee's first Dog Haus restaurant. This support lasts up to 10 days, combining assistance before and after the restaurant's opening. Additionally, Dog Haus offers on-site assistance for up to 3 days during the grand opening promotional event, which must occur 2-4 weeks after the restaurant opens.
However, Dog Haus does not provide any on-site assistance for subsequent franchised restaurants owned by the same franchisee or their affiliates. This means that after the first location, franchisees are expected to manage the openings of new locations independently. This policy also applies if a franchisee signs a renewal Franchise Agreement.
This lack of on-site assistance for subsequent locations could present a challenge for franchisees looking to expand rapidly. Franchisees should factor in the cost of training staff and managing the opening of new locations without direct support from Dog Haus. While Dog Haus may offer additional post-opening training programs for managerial personnel, these programs do not substitute for the hands-on assistance provided during the initial opening.
