What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dog Haus Franchise Disclosure Document, both the franchisee and franchisor are obligated to execute, acknowledge, and deliver any additional documents or instruments that the other party reasonably requires to fully implement and carry out the provisions of the Franchise Agreement. This ensures that all aspects of the agreement are legally and practically enforceable.
This requirement is a standard legal practice in franchising. It allows either Dog Haus or the franchisee to address unforeseen issues or to clarify ambiguities in the original agreement through supplementary documentation. The term 'reasonably require' implies that such requests must be justifiable and not overly burdensome.
For a prospective Dog Haus franchisee, this clause means being prepared to cooperate with Dog Haus in providing or obtaining additional paperwork that may become necessary during the franchise term. Failure to comply with reasonable requests could potentially lead to breaches of the agreement. Franchisees should seek legal counsel if they are unsure whether a request for additional documentation is reasonable or necessary.
