What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dog Haus has the option to provide post-opening on-site opening assistance remotely. Dog Haus may provide post-opening on-site opening assistance remotely over a virtual communication platform that they designate.
This means that a new Dog Haus franchisee may receive some or all of their post-opening support and training through online video conferencing or other virtual means, rather than in-person visits from Dog Haus representatives. This can potentially reduce costs associated with travel and lodging for the Dog Haus support team.
While Dog Haus offers on-site training and assistance for up to 10 days for the first restaurant, this does not apply to subsequent franchises or renewal agreements. The ability to provide assistance virtually gives Dog Haus flexibility in how they support franchisees, especially those who may be further away or have logistical challenges. Franchisees should confirm with Dog Haus what portions of the training and assistance will be provided on-site versus virtually to understand the level of in-person support they can expect.
