What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Dog Haus Biergarten must have a minimum of 24 beers on tap and a selection of wines available on tap. The FDD specifies that a Biergarten is approximately 1,800 to 3,000 square feet in size and has several requirements in addition to the beer and wine selection.

Other requirements for a Dog Haus Biergarten include a minimum of 8 seats at the bar, at least one bartender on duty at all times, a minimum of 10 televisions, and cable/satellite television capability with multiple control boxes. The location must also have a patio with a minimum of 24 seats, open or enclosed kitchens, extended hours of operation, glassware and a dishwasher, additional equipment, a server with a handheld POS, happy-hour pricing for food and beverages, liquor, and an additional freezer and ice molds to serve liquor.

Prospective franchisees should consider these requirements when evaluating the potential costs and operational complexities of opening a Dog Haus Biergarten compared to a smaller Dog Haus Fast Casual Restaurant, which has a more limited beer and wine selection and a smaller footprint.
