What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Manager Training program includes 1 hour of classroom training. The training takes place at a Dog Haus Restaurant in Los Angeles, CA, another designated location, or via a virtual communication platform. In addition to the classroom training, the Manager Training program also includes 24 hours of on-the-job training.

This initial training is part of the Pre-Opening Initial Training Program that is provided to the Principal Owner and General Manager, or other supervisorial or managerial personnel. The Pre-Opening Initial Training Program consists of approximately 2 weeks of virtual training that must be completed before the Franchised Restaurant opens for business. After completion of virtual training, the franchisee will participate in 8 to 13 days of in-person training at a Dog Haus Restaurant in Los Angeles, California, or at another location designated by Dog Haus.

Prospective franchisees should note that they must cover all travel, living, compensation, and other expenses incurred by their Principal Owner, General Manager, and other supervisorial or managerial personnel while attending the Pre-Opening Initial Training Program. Dog Haus may also offer Additional Post-Opening Training Programs for new or replacement supervisorial or managerial personnel, for which the franchisee would also be responsible for covering the associated costs.
