rcise day-to-day control over all operations, activities and elements of the Dog Haus Restaurant, including over your employees. Under no circumstance will we do so or be deemed to do so. The various requirements, restrictions, prohibitions, specifications and procedures of the Dog Haus System with which you must comply under the Franchise Agreement and the Manuals do not directly or indirectly constitute, suggest, infer or imply that we control any aspect or element of the day-to-day operations of your Dog Haus Restaurant, but only constitute standards to which you must adhere when exercising your control over the day-to-day operations of your Dog Haus Restaurant consistent with our policies. - 4 Pre-Opening Initial Training Program. We will provide our Pre-Opening Initial Training Program at our corporate office or other Dog Haus Restaurant or location that we designate and through a virtual communication platform designated by us, for your Principal Owner and your General Manager or other supervisorial or managerial personnel. - Dog Haus Approved Suppliers. We will designate our Dog Haus Approved Suppliers for you after we sign your Franchise Agreement. All Dog Haus Branded Products, Dog Haus Proprietary Products, Sub-Branded Products and Non-Proprietary Products and Services that we designate for use and sale at or from your Franchised Restaurant must be purchased from Dog Haus Approved Suppliers in accordance with our written specifications. We do not deliver or install any Dog Haus Branded Products, Dog Haus Proprietary Products, Sub-Branded Products or Non-Proprietary Products and Services. (Franchise Agreement, Section 8.1).

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the manuals contain the various requirements, restrictions, prohibitions, specifications, and procedures of the Dog Haus System that franchisees must comply with, as stated in the Franchise Agreement. The Dog Haus manuals currently contain 759 pages. Franchisees will have the opportunity to review the manuals before signing the Franchise Agreement and must operate their franchised restaurant in compliance with the terms outlined within the agreement and the manuals.
The manuals do not grant Dog Haus direct or indirect control over the day-to-day operations of the franchisee's restaurant. Instead, they establish the standards to which franchisees must adhere while independently managing their restaurant's daily operations. Franchisees alone exercise day-to-day control over all operations, activities, and elements of the Dog Haus Restaurant, including over their employees.
Dog Haus may update or change the manuals from time to time in its sole discretion and will continue to provide franchisees with access to the manuals during the term of the Franchise Agreement. These manuals may include audio, video, computer software, other electronic media, and/or written materials. Dog Haus may also post some or all of the manuals on a restricted website, intranet, or extranet accessible to franchisees. Additionally, franchisees must provide free WiFi service at their Fast Casual Restaurant or Biergarten for use by their customers in compliance with Dog Haus's requirements for bandwidth included in the Manuals or other directives from Dog Haus.
