What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Dog Haus establishes a franchisee Intranet, franchisees must establish and maintain an electronic connection with the Intranet. This connection must allow Dog Haus to send and receive messages to and from the franchisee. The specific requirements for this connection will be detailed in the Dog Haus manuals.

Dog Haus franchisees only have the privilege to use the Intranet if they strictly comply with the standards, specifications, protocols, and restrictions that Dog Haus establishes. Dog Haus, as the administrator, can access and view any communication posted on the Intranet, and all communications posted become Dog Haus's property, without any privacy claims from the franchisee.

If a franchisee defaults on their agreement with Dog Haus, Dog Haus can disable or terminate the franchisee's access to the Intranet without any liability. This highlights the importance of adhering to the franchise agreement and maintaining a strong business relationship with Dog Haus to avoid losing access to this communication tool.

This Intranet access and usage policy is typical in franchising, as franchisors need to maintain control over communication and information dissemination within the franchise system. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Dog Haus manuals and franchise agreement to understand the specific requirements and potential consequences related to Intranet usage.
