What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the right to disapprove any modifications or additions to the Dog Haus System suggested by a franchisee. This is because every detail of the Dog Haus System is considered essential for maintaining quality operating standards, increasing demand for products and services, and protecting the Dog Haus Marks, reputation, and goodwill.

Dog Haus believes that maintaining a consistent brand and operating system is crucial for the overall success of the franchise network. By ensuring that all locations adhere to the established standards, Dog Haus aims to provide customers with a predictable and high-quality experience, regardless of the specific location they visit. This consistency is seen as a key factor in building brand loyalty and driving demand for Dog Haus products and services.

Therefore, Dog Haus retains the right to disapprove any changes that could potentially harm the system, the brand's reputation, or its trademarks. This allows Dog Haus to maintain control over the brand and ensure that all franchisees are operating in a way that aligns with the company's overall goals and standards. This is a fairly standard clause in most franchise agreements, as franchisors need to maintain brand consistency.
