What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase specific items from Dog Haus Approved Suppliers. This includes all menus, containers, napkins, bags, cups, and other packaging used at the franchised restaurant. These items must conform to Dog Haus's specifications and be imprinted with the Dog Haus Marks, if specified by the franchisor.
This requirement ensures brand consistency across all Dog Haus locations, maintaining a uniform look and feel for customers. By mandating the use of approved suppliers, Dog Haus aims to control the quality and appearance of these essential items, which directly impact the customer experience and brand image.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they will not have the freedom to source these items independently. Instead, they must adhere to the list of Dog Haus Approved Suppliers. While this may limit flexibility in purchasing, it also streamlines the process and ensures compliance with brand standards. Franchisees may want to inquire about the number of approved suppliers, their locations, and the pricing structure to better understand the potential costs and logistics involved.
