What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Dog Haus Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement does not explicitly define the term 'Entity Information Disclosure.' However, the agreement does include provisions related to the authorization to release information.

Specifically, Dog Haus's franchise agreement states that the franchisee authorizes banks, financial institutions, businesses, suppliers, and other entities with whom the franchisee does business to disclose financial information to Dog Haus. Additionally, Dog Haus is authorized to disclose data from the franchisee's reports to prospective franchisees or other third parties if deemed necessary. Dog Haus can also disclose information about the franchisee's obligations or performance under the agreement to third parties like the franchisee's landlord or bank if Dog Haus considers it necessary.

These clauses in the Dog Haus franchise agreement allow for the exchange of information between the franchisee, Dog Haus, and third parties. A prospective franchisee should carefully consider these provisions and how they might impact their business and financial privacy. It would be prudent to discuss with Dog Haus under what specific circumstances they would exercise these rights to disclose franchisee information.
