What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to ensure that any supervisorial or managerial personnel who have access to the company's confidential information sign agreements to maintain that confidentiality. These agreements must be in a format that Dog Haus finds satisfactory.
Specifically, Dog Haus requires that these confidentiality agreements identify the franchisor as a third-party beneficiary. This provision grants Dog Haus the independent right to enforce the covenants directly, ensuring that the franchisor has legal recourse should an employee breach the confidentiality agreement, regardless of the franchisee's actions.
