You will sign an Area Development Agreement (Exhibit B), that will describe your development area and your development schedule and obligations. You and we will determine the Development Area and the number of Franchised Restaurants that you will develop and operate before you sign your Area Development Agreement. You must sign a separate Franchise Agreement for each Franchised Restaurant that you will open under the Area Development Agreement. The Franchise Agreement for your first Franchised Restaurant will be in the form attached as Exhibit A to this Disclosure Document and must be signed when you sign your Area Development Agreement. The Franchise Agreements you will sign for your additional Franchised Restaurants will be our then-current form of Franchise Agreement that we are then offering to new franchisees, which may contain terms and conditions that are materially different from our current Franchise Agreement attached as Exhibit A to this Disclosure Document. You will sign our then-current form of Franchise Agreement for each Franchised Restaurant that you will develop after we accept the site for each Franchised Restaurant.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit B contains the details regarding the development area, schedule, and obligations for Area Developers. As an Area Developer for Dog Haus, you are assigned a specific geographic region where you must establish and operate a minimum number of Dog Haus Fast Casual Restaurants, Biergartens, and/or Remote Kitchens within a defined timeframe. The specifics of this development area, along with your responsibilities and schedule, are outlined in the Area Development Agreement, which is presented as Exhibit B in the FDD.
Before signing the Area Development Agreement, both you and Dog Haus will need to agree on the Development Area and the number of Dog Haus restaurants you are expected to develop and operate. For each restaurant opened under the Area Development Agreement, a separate Franchise Agreement is required. The Franchise Agreement for your initial Dog Haus location is included as Exhibit A to the FDD and must be signed concurrently with the Area Development Agreement.
It is important to note that the Franchise Agreements for subsequent Dog Haus locations developed under the Area Development Agreement may differ materially from the initial Franchise Agreement (Exhibit A). These later agreements will be based on Dog Haus's then-current form of Franchise Agreement offered to new franchisees. Therefore, prospective Area Developers should carefully review Exhibit B to fully understand their development obligations and be aware that the terms of future Franchise Agreements may change.
