What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'Catering Services' includes the possibility of off-premises catering. Specifically, the FDD states that franchisees must follow Dog Haus's catering service policies and procedures, which may require them to provide catering services or restrict the areas where they can offer these services.

Furthermore, the FDD acknowledges that Dog Haus's catering policies and procedures may allow other Dog Haus restaurants to provide catering services within a franchisee's protected area. It also states that franchisees may be allowed to offer catering services outside of their protected area. This implies that catering services are not necessarily limited to the physical location of the franchise and can extend beyond it.

Dog Haus retains the right to modify these catering service policies and procedures and can even require a franchisee to discontinue catering services altogether. This gives Dog Haus significant control over how catering services are offered within the franchise system and allows them to adapt to changing market conditions or strategic priorities.
